Seminole County Drug Court
The goal of the Seminole County Drug Court is to stop drug abuse and related criminal activity by using Court supervised treatment that offers offenders a compelling alternative to the criminal behavior that stems from drug use. Upon successful completion of the Drug Court Program, the offender will receive a dismissal or reduction of the original charge. If a participant chooses not to abide by the rules of the program, they will be sentenced to the Department of Corrections for a period determined prior to their entrance into the program. Compliance with the program is completely within the participant's control through clear choices and immediate consequences. Costs $125/mo paid to the Court Clerk’s office.

Bond Supervision
Bond supervision (often referred to as pretrial supervision) is a court-ordered program that monitors a criminal defendant after they are released from jail while their case is pending. Instead of keeping a defendant in custody, a judge allows them to remain free in the community under the strict watchful eye of a pretrial services officer. Bond supervision is probation before a conviction. While a bail bond handles the financial requirement to secure release from jail, bond supervision focuses entirely on forcing compliance with the court's behavioral rules until the case is officially resolved. Costs $10/week.
